Resolved Question: Questions About Xbox 360 (Arcade Version)?

I'm getting a new Xbox 360 Arcade with a seperate (Microsoft Xbox 360) 20GB hard drive to connect to it. I also will be hooking it up to my home Local Area Network (LAN) internet connection. With all of these things will I be able to: watch store-purchased DVD movies (without buying anything else other than what I listed above), play on xbox live with friends, stream media from my Windows XP SP3 computer (with WinAmp Remote and Windows Media Player 11, download games from the Xbox marketplace, rip Audio CDs to the hard drive, plug USB devices and memory storage (i.e. USB flash drive) to view/play compatible files, update dashboard/firmware to the NXE (New Xbox Experience), buy the separate HD-DVD player add-on and use it, and do pretty much everything else the other versions of Xbox can do? Please don't recommend buying the Elite or Pro or any other systems. I am buying the new Arcade and I'm not interested in changing my mind.
