Voting Question: Cannot burn because of Codec problems? Help please!!?
When I add a DAT file to the list of video files I want to burn using Nero, it says "Cannot add file, the file is invalid - need MPEG-1 which was encoded for Video CD. The following problems were found:
-stream encoding which is invalid
-no video
-no audio"
The DAT file can be played though using various media players. It's like that any DAT file cannot be burned. I used to be able to burn DAT files, maybe I just accidentally deleted something or installed a video-related software that might have deleted an important file, probably a codec.
