Streaming Audio For Your Website And Blogs

I would like any information possible that is in laymans terms about how to add streaming video from my house to the internet. I have broadband cable and several domains that are hosted offsite. I would like to know of any programs, especially freeware that does streaming video (with or without audio). Thank you

When I go to Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Audio, under the Sound recording section, all that appears as options are "Line In/Mic In" or "Conexant Falcon Audio Capture". I have no idea what the latter is. My normal sound playback device is Realtek HD Audio, and I have no other device or driver that has to do with conexant falcon whatever anywhere on my system. So the problem is, I can't record streaming audio from my computer because neither of those "recording devices" actually works for recording. Is there a way to add a new recording device or modify an existing one?
