Voting Question: I think I got carried away cleaning out my programs (add/remove). Now any video stream (?) is jumpy-stops and?

starts and the audio skips and doesn't go with the messed up video. what to do? I have quick-time installed...I was advised to remoeve any unknowns to try to speed up my comp...it's now slower than ever...

Voting Question: Can anyone tell me a way to stream video from my computer.?
I would like any information possible that is in laymans terms about how to add streaming video from my house to the internet. I have broadband cable and several domains that are hosted offsite.
I would like to know of any programs, especially freeware that does streaming video (with or without audio).

Resolved Question: Sound recording devices in Windows XP not working?
When I go to Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Audio, under the Sound recording section, all that appears as options are "Line In/Mic In" or "Conexant Falcon Audio Capture". I have no idea what the latter is. My normal sound playback device is Realtek HD Audio, and I have no other device or driver that has to do with conexant falcon whatever anywhere on my system. So the problem is, I can't record streaming audio from my computer because neither of those "recording devices" actually works for recording. Is there a way to add a new recording device or modify an existing one?
